OpenCloud Compose is a repository of Docker Compose configurations for deploying OpenCloud in different environments. Its modular files combine the core OpenCloud service with Traefik or an external reverse proxy, Let's Encrypt or local certificates, Collabora Online or Euro Office document editing, Keycloak and LDAP identity management, Apache Tika full-text search, Radicale calendar and contacts, monitoring metrics, and ClamAV antivirus scanning. Kustomize is a Kubernetes configuration customization tool sponsored by the Kubernetes SIG CLI. It processes raw, template-free YAML without modifying the original files, using declarative kustomization files to combine resources, apply patches and labels, generate resources such as ConfigMaps, and create overlays for development, staging, and production variants. It can wrap separately managed Kubernetes and CRD files and reference external files without copying their full contents into a repository. The resulting YAML can be emitted with `kustomize build` and applied directly with `kubectl`; Kustomize is also integrated into kubectl.

Helm is a Kubernetes package manager for creating, sharing, installing, and managing charts. A chart is a package of preconfigured Kubernetes resources containing a package description in Chart.yaml and one or more templates for Kubernetes manifests; charts can be stored locally or fetched from remote repositories. Helm renders chart templates and communicates with the Kubernetes API to install and manage releases, and can run on a developer machine or in CI/CD. The videos also describe using Helm to package Crossplane compositions with little or no templating and distribute them as versioned OCI artifacts.

ComPDF Self-Hosted is an open-source PDF editing, conversion, and document-processing platform from the KDAN ecosystem. It is deployed privately with Docker Compose and provides a browser-accessible tool center for merging, splitting, rotating, watermarking, encrypting, decrypting, and otherwise editing PDFs, as well as converting between PDF, Office formats, HTML, TXT, CSV, RTF, JSON, Markdown, OFD, and image formats. Its image-conversion functions include image-to-document and image-to-PDF workflows, with OCR-related capabilities indicated by the repository topics. A management console handles API keys, API usage, license status, operation-log auditing, account management, and system configuration; commercial support and an enterprise upgrade are also offered.

KCL is an open-source, constraint-based record and functional language for generating and managing configuration, including cloud-native and Kubernetes resources. It uses schemas, static types, constraints, rules, and isolated configuration blocks to model, validate, mutate, and organize configuration while reducing boilerplate; it can generate JSON and YAML or integrate with existing data. KCL supports configuration tooling such as formatting, linting, testing, documentation, package management, IDE extensions, and SDKs for several languages, and integrates with Kubernetes through tools including the Kubectl, Kustomize, Helm, and Crossplane KCL plugins. In Crossplane workflows, it can be used to develop composition functions as independent executable source code before embedding them into YAML at build time. The project is a CNCF Sandbox project and its implementation uses Rust and C, with support for native-code and WebAssembly compilation.
