Vaultisse is an open-source web application for managing physical book collections at home, in schools, or in small lending libraries. It catalogs books by manual entry or ISBN scanning, automatically retrieving metadata through Google Books, Open Library, and LibraryThing fallback lookups, and tracks individual copies, their shelf or location, reading and availability status, damage, and current borrowers. It also provides full-text search, barcode and ISBN label printing, collection statistics, and organization by author, category, language, and format. The application uses a Vue 3 and Vuetify single-page frontend with an Express and TypeScript REST API backed by PostgreSQL. It supports JWT sessions in HTTP-only cookies, password hashing, optional OIDC/SSO, rate limiting, and a multilingual interface. Vaultisse can be run locally or deployed with Docker or PM2; its source code is licensed under the MIT License.

Prismedia is a private, self-hosted media library for managing and using movies, series, music, books, audiobooks, comics, images, and galleries across a web app and native apps for iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV. It uses a shared media entity containing an item's identity, metadata, artwork, files, relationships, and personal progress, while providing medium-specific playback, reading, and listening experiences. The server scans watched folders, identifies items through metadata-provider plugins, organizes files and relationships, and supports browser and native playback with resume support, subtitles, and client-dependent direct playback or conversion. It includes EPUB, PDF, and comic readers, audiobook playback, music queues, media requests through optional indexers and download clients, household accounts, background jobs, and database backups. It runs as a Docker container containing the database, web app, API, worker, and media tools; users supply their own media files.

Halcyon Video is a self-hosted 3D media-library interface that connects to Jellyfin or Plex and procedurally presents a collection as a walkable video-rental store. Built with Vite, TypeScript, and three.js, with an optional Tauri wrapper, it turns libraries into aisles, genres into signposted sections, duplicate quality versions into stacks behind a face copy, and low-rated titles into a Bargain Bin. Users can browse shelves, inspect front and back cover artwork, take cases to a checkout counter, and play titles through its player or MPV in a simulated living room and VCR; WebXR walk mode and a CSS-based 2.5D mode are also available. Era, lighting, floor plan, and VHS-or-DVD presentation are independent settings. Branding can change the store name, colors, emblem, typeface, signs, cases, endcaps, aisle markers, shelving, checkout area, and clerk uniform; a logo.svg or transparent PNG in the user-assets folder can provide the emblem and derive house colors. The project supports Docker, browser use, dedicated-HTPC operation, remote browser playback with a TURN relay, and RomM game libraries. Its browser demo includes a synthetic catalog of roughly 2,000 titles and can use several gigabytes of memory and substantial GPU resources, while shelving personal files requires Jellyfin or Plex rather than a built-in folder scanner.

Meelo is a self-hosted music server for music collectors, with a web interface focused on browsing, metadata integration, and listening. It provides playback, libraries, search, playlists, and flexible metadata parsing from embedded tags, file names, or both. Albums can contain multiple releases while showing only a main release in browsing views; songs similarly support tracks and versions to avoid duplicated entries. Music videos are treated as first-class media, with separate handling for interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, and trailers, and the server also identifies B-sides, rare tracks, instrumentals, live recordings, and featuring or duet relationships. It can transcode audio and video formats when browser support requires it, retrieve metadata from providers including MusicBrainz, Genius, and Wikipedia, download or read synced lyrics, and send scrobbles to ListenBrainz and Last.fm. Meelo is distributed through Docker images and has Android and iOS apps.

ShelfDroid is a third-party Android client for self-hosted Audiobookshelf servers. It lets users browse audiobook and podcast libraries, stream books and episodes with synchronized listening progress, and download them for offline playback. The app includes chapters, bookmarks, a sleep timer, playback-speed controls, and other player functions; accounts with permission can also manage backups, API keys, users, logs, server settings, sessions, notifications, authentication, metadata, and other server features. ShelfDroid is open source under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0.
