Overview

For transfers, gdirect scans reachable Google front ends, tests them with TLS, Drive API, and download checks, and routes requests through verified endpoints. It supports multi-connection downloads using pinned libaria2, automatic retries between endpoints, and optional use of a relay or Google-only routing. Mounting uses rclone, with NFS on macOS and FUSE3 on Linux; local writes are cached and uploaded in the background. The project provides prebuilt binaries for macOS, Linux, and Windows, plus source-build instructions.
