Heroku

Dokku is an open-source, Docker-powered self-hosted platform as a service for building and managing application lifecycles on a user's own server. It provides a small Heroku-like deployment workflow: users push application code, which Dokku builds with buildpacks or a Dockerfile, then manages as a containerized application. The project supports deployment to fresh Ubuntu or Debian virtual machines, requires SSH access for application deployment, provides web documentation and an SSH-based command-line administration interface, and is distributed under the MIT License.

ZaneOps is a self-hosted, open-source platform-as-a-service for deploying and managing static sites, web applications, databases, services, workers, and other workloads on personal servers. It uses Docker Swarm for scalability and Caddy for traffic handling, and provides a dashboard for project management, HTTP logs, and runtime logs. ZaneOps is positioned as a free alternative to Heroku, Railway, and Render, and can be installed with a shell script.

Dokploy is an open-source, self-hostable platform as a service for deploying and managing applications and databases on VPS instances or owned hardware. It supports deployments from Git repositories, Docker images, and Docker Compose.

Cloud Run is Google Cloud's fully managed serverless platform for deploying and running containerized applications and services. It automatically scales instances with incoming traffic, can scale to zero when idle, and provides load balancing, TLS, logging, and identity management.
