Hopp is an open-source remote pair-programming and screen-sharing application for developers. Its native desktop client uses Tauri with Rust and React/TypeScript, while a Go backend uses PostgreSQL and Redis; screen sharing runs over WebRTC infrastructure powered by LiveKit. The application supports one-click pairing, rooms for up to 10 participants, and the project claims sub-100ms latency. It can be used through Hopp's managed cloud or self-hosted with Docker Compose, which provisions PostgreSQL, Redis, LiveKit, and Caddy. macOS is supported with a stable build, Windows with an alpha build, and Linux is planned.
