Open Screen Sharing

Open Screen Sharing is a macOS, iOS, and iPadOS screen-sharing client and server project by nekohasekai, based on the private Apple VNC protocol used by macOS Screen Sharing. It provides clients optimized for local and public networks, including Tailscale peer-to-peer connections, and adds exclusive mouse control, a debug HUD, fixed language switching, and interactions adapted for touch devices. Its iOS and iPadOS server implementation is based on Apple's iOS developer debugging protocol and can be accessed by the native macOS Screen Sharing app or its own client; the project also documents file dragging and server features that require sideloading because of App Store restrictions. macOS packages, iOS App Store and sideloadable builds, and nightly releases are provided. The project is licensed under the GNU General Public License v3.
