Issued is a fast, self-hosted comic library server for CBZ, CBR, CB7, and PDF files. It scans an existing comics folder without requiring reorganization, detects new files automatically, extracts pages and metadata, generates thumbnails, and builds a searchable library database.
The server provides a browser-based reader and an OPDS catalog for compatible apps such as Panels and Chunky. It tracks reading progress, supports ongoing-series tracking with latest-issue and possible-gap information, and can resume the latest unfinished issue or start the next unread one. Issued is distributed as a Docker image or standalone executable, with CBR support requiring unrar, and is licensed under the MIT License.
