Open Math Harness

Open Math Harness is the open-source runtime of Open Math OS, an infrastructure platform for collaborative mathematical research. Developed in Rust, its Nucleus generation provides a capability-based microkernel, services, and agents that run open models with streaming replies, tool use, sub-agents, persistent project history, and Git-based project memory.

Overview

Its Ultramath service coordinates multiple agents exploring different approaches, while proof search explores candidate proofs in parallel and accepts a proof only when Lean verifies it in a confined workspace. Agents can use files, shell, web and PDF tools, skills, MCP servers, and plugins; protected actions require human approval, and credentials remain with privileged providers rather than models or logs. The repository supports building the runtime and a self-contained capability-checking example on Linux with Rust and bubblewrap, but the full interactive runtime currently depends on the Open Math OS deployment environment and is not yet a standalone local setup. It is licensed under Apache-2.0.
