Ratatui

rataflow is a Rust library for building interactive node-based user interfaces in the terminal, from static diagrams to editable graph views. It is built on ratatui and inspired by xyflow (React Flow). The library provides generic nodes and edges, parent-child hierarchies, configurable interaction flags, dragging, resizing, connection and reconnection, selection, pan and zoom, keyboard navigation, context-menu events, connection validation, and automatic edge-of-canvas panning. It renders custom node and edge content, includes built-in edge types and companion widgets such as controls, a minimap, and a background, and supports runtime palettes and layered Sugiyama layout. Graph snapshots can be serialized with serde, while handlers return semantic FlowEvent values without hidden graph mutations. Input backends include crossterm, termion, termwiz, and WebAssembly through ratzilla; the project also provides browser examples compiled to WASM.

wptui is a keyboard-driven WhatsApp client for the terminal. It combines a Rust/Ratatui terminal interface with the Go whatsmeow library to provide Vim-inspired chat navigation, chat browsing and search, message sending and editing, replies, reactions, quoted-message inspection, clipboard text/image/file pasting, attachment captions, media downloads and previews, contact avatars, and desktop notifications. Accounts can be linked with a QR code or phone pairing code. The client stores its database, media, and session locally in ~/.local/share/wptui/ and exchanges data with WhatsApp servers for linking and synchronization. Image rendering uses libchafa; prebuilt binaries are provided for Linux x86_64 and macOS Apple Silicon, and the project can also be built from source with Rust, Go, and CGO.

hqtui is a TypeScript terminal UI library developed by profullstack for building btop-style dashboards with a one-import API and zero runtime dependencies. It renders directly through ANSI/VT sequences using a typed-array cell framebuffer, differential rendering, truecolor with automatic 256- and 16-color fallback, and Braille or block graphics, without ncurses, a browser DOM, React, native add-ons, or network access. Its API provides layouts, panels, tables, trees, logs, meters, graphs, forms, dialogs, themes, mouse input, and responsive terminal handling. A headless renderer can produce text, screen, ANSI, or HTML output for testing without a TTY. Bun is the default runtime; Node 22.6 or newer is supported, with best-effort Deno support. The project is MIT-licensed and includes a demo dashboard with real or simulated system metrics.

mirador is an open-source terminal dashboard built with Rust and ratatui for keeping in a terminal tab and glancing at throughout the day. It provides configurable panels for world clocks, a calendar and agenda, weather, an editable task list, notes, a market watchlist, a calculator, RSS news feeds, and live CPU and network charts; panels can be enabled, rearranged, focused, and edited through keyboard controls. Tasks, notes, and the watchlist are stored as hand-editable TOML files rather than in a database or sync service. The dashboard uses keyless public endpoints for weather and market data and configurable RSS feeds for news; the project states that it requires no account, API key, or telemetry and does not contact external services unless requested.

Tauri is a cross-platform application-building toolkit used to provide WolfCut's native application interface. It combines an existing web frontend with Rust application logic and uses the operating system's native web renderer, supporting desktop and mobile targets including Linux, macOS, Windows, Android, and iOS from a single codebase. The project states that applications can be as small as 600 KB and are distributed under CC-BY and MIT licensing.
