terminal-rs

terminal-rs is a native Rust, keyboard-driven market terminal with a Bloomberg-style tiled workspace and GPU-rendered charts for stocks, ETFs, indices, foreign exchange, crypto, Treasuries, futures, commodities, and options. Its chart renderer uses level-of-detail bar pyramids and generates geometry in the vertex shader; it supports multiple chart types, indicators, drawings, comparisons, live crypto feeds, cached history, and offline sample data.

Overview

The terminal ingests Senate eFD and House Clerk STOCK Act disclosures, normalizes politicians, transactions, dates, tickers, and amount ranges into SQLite, and provides congressional-trade feeds, politician profiles, chart markers, tracking alerts, and per-security queries. Panels can be docked, split, linked by security, popped into native windows, and saved as layouts; themes and keyboard shortcuts are configurable.

Brokerage accounts connect through SnapTrade and are read-only by default. A local paper-trading account is included, while live order entry is opt-in and uses SnapTrade previews and confirmation. The repository states that macOS is the primary target, with Linux support, and that scanned filings are recorded but not OCR'd or itemized.
