Sanity is a headless, real-time CMS for managing structured content such as directory entries, blog posts, and sponsored placements. Its open-source Sanity Studio is a customizable single-page application built with JavaScript and React, with structured editing, an advanced block editor, field validation, document organization, plug-ins, custom components, and branding controls. Content is hosted in Sanity's real-time Content Lake and can be queried or managed through GROQ and GraphQL APIs, with APIs for reading, writing, importing, exporting, historical revisions, and update listeners. Sanity also supports real-time distribution from a shared content source, image uploads and on-demand transformations, rich-text serialization, and metadata queries for images.
