ScreenScraper

A social-media scraping service that provides APIs for collecting information from creator accounts and content. It is used to retrieve structured creator data for research, monitoring, and other automated workflows.

SCM is a local-first macOS application for searching photos and videos by visual content, visible text, and spoken dialogue. It indexes whole files with local vision models, segments videos into scenes so searches can jump to a timecode, runs Tesseract OCR for literal text matching, and uses Whisper transcripts for exact spoken-word searches. An optional local LLM can answer questions over extracted dialogue, OCR, and filename evidence with citations. The app imports files through manual selection, drag-and-drop, or watched folders. It content-hashes files for rename-proof deduplication, stores embeddings and media metadata locally, and can re-embed a library when the selected vision model changes. Model weights and language packs download once; subsequent inference runs offline, with no accounts, uploads, or telemetry. SCM is distributed as an Electron application for macOS, including a Homebrew cask and packaged DMG/ZIP builds.

Escrcpy is an open-source graphical interface for displaying and controlling Android devices through the scrcpy engine. It provides an embedded mirror with screen-fitting and orientation handling, configurable mappings for touch, joystick, swipe, scrolling, and automation, simultaneous control of multiple devices with broadcast input, batch screenshots and APK installation, and a draggable control bar for device operations. It also supports wireless ADB connections with LAN discovery and Gnirehtet reverse tethering, visual step-by-step automation with screen-image recognition, global shortcuts, and an MCP-based AI assistant with multi-model chat. Released packages are available for manual installation, with macOS installation through Homebrew; advanced features from the private EscrcpyX extension are paid, and the project states that updates are irregular.

RomM is a self-hosted ROM manager and player for organizing an owned game collection. It scans game folders, parses filename tags and naming schemes, and enriches entries with metadata from IGDB, Screenscraper, and MobyGames, with artwork from SteamGridDB. The interface supports metadata for more than 400 platforms, custom tags, multi-disk games, DLCs, mods, hacks, patches, and manuals. RomM can display RetroAchievements progress and play compatible games in a browser through EmulatorJS and RuffleRS. screenpipe is a local AI-agent memory layer that continuously captures computer history on macOS, Windows, and Linux. It records screen frames with OCR, accessibility data, microphone and system audio with transcripts, and application activity, storing the underlying history locally. Agents can search the history through a local REST API, database, or MCP server and use it for tasks such as meeting summaries, follow-ups, and workflow automations. Users can exclude apps, windows, URLs, or time periods and redact sensitive fields on the device; the page describes the project as source-available.
