Yingxia

Yingxia is a native SwiftUI TVBox player for Apple TV, iPhone, iPad, and Mac. It imports TVBox JSON subscriptions by URL and M3U or TXT playlists, presenting live channels in a guide, on-demand catalogs by source, and unified search across subscriptions. Playback uses AVPlayer with HLS support; the Mac version also provides a separate Picture in Picture player window.

Overview

The app runs JSON and JavaScript sources and JAR sources, with Python support on Mac, using on-device plugin hosts and lightweight ports with the original plugin as a fallback. It has no account or analytics, keeps subscriptions and logs on the device, and retains the last working subscription copy when a refresh fails.

The project is distributed as a signed and notarized free Mac download for macOS 15 and Apple silicon. Apple TV and iPhone/iPad versions are preview builds installed by sideloading, and the apps are not yet on the App Store. Yingxia's original code is licensed under GPL-3.0-only.
