Spun is a source-available music player for Linux that presents album artwork through CD, vinyl, cassette, and TP-7-inspired recorder interfaces. It plays local music and can browse YouTube Music anonymously, connect to Jellyfin, Navidrome, or Subsonic servers, and control Apple Music through a running Cider instance. The mixer performs EQ, delay, compression, and channel mixing inside Spun, but does not support external USB hardware, recording, MIDI, or separate auxiliary outputs. Spun is built from source with CMake, Ninja, Qt 6.8 or later, and TagLib 2.0 or later; Qt Quick 3D is optional. The repository states that there is no packaged installer yet.
