Vorssaint is a free, open-source Swift/SwiftUI macOS menu bar toolkit that combines utilities including per-application volume and audio controls, output and microphone switching, system monitoring, network statistics, app and window switching, window snapping, Dock previews, clipboard history, text snippets, file staging, screen capture, display and energy controls, media tools, cleaning, and app removal. It is modular: users can install or remove complete features, with removed features stopping loading while retaining their settings for later reinstallation. The toolkit also provides configurable shortcuts, panels, a command bar, and optional bundles for common setups. Vorssaint runs locally without an account, analytics, tracking, subscription, or required network service; its volume mixer requires no audio driver or setup, and selected features request only the relevant macOS permissions, including accessibility, screen recording, audio recording, microphone, camera, calendars, notifications, and disk access.

SpinWin is a macOS menubar utility that visually rotates or continuously spins another app’s window without private APIs or disabling System Integrity Protection. It hides the selected window off-screen through the Accessibility API, captures its contents with ScreenCaptureKit, and displays the frames in a transparent, borderless overlay whose CALayer transform applies preset 90-degree rotations, arbitrary angles, or continuous spinning. The overlay is sized to the rotated content’s bounding box to avoid clipping and can be dragged or freely rotated. It requires Screen Recording and Accessibility permissions; the overlay is a live, non-interactive picture, and the project notes limitations involving Mission Control, off-screen rendering throttling, and windows that resize themselves.

BrewUI is Homebrew's official macOS graphical interface for discovering, installing, updating, and managing Homebrew packages without requiring Terminal use. It uses a native SwiftUI interface while exposing the underlying Homebrew operations, with data from the brew CLI and Homebrew JSON API. The application is built with Swift 6.0, Swift Package Manager, and strict concurrency, supports macOS Tahoe 26 and later, and is distributed under the AGPL-3.0 license.

DesktopFly is a macOS desktop companion that places a procedural 3D fruit fly on a transparent, click-through overlay. The fly walks across window edges, grooms, sleeps, flies, and responds to cursor movement, clicks, window changes, keyboard activity, time of day, and thermal state without requiring permissions or entitlements. A separate interactive brain window displays 23,210 FlyWire neuron soma positions and live spikes. Its behavior is driven by a 1 kHz leaky-integrate-and-fire simulation of a 668-neuron circuit containing approximately 19,000 real synaptic connections. Cursor approach is converted into looming input for LC4 and LPLC2 visual neurons; escape is produced only when activity reaches the DNp01/Giant Fiber escape command neuron through the modeled synapses. Other circuit outputs drive walking speed, steering, grooming, backward movement, wing effort, escape maneuvers, arousal, and spontaneous takeoff. The loop also feeds gait rhythm to ascending proprioceptive neurons and fast cursor motion to sensory wind partners. The body geometry and sensory transduction are procedural or modeled, while the downstream connectivity and synaptic strengths come from FlyWire data. The project targets macOS 13 or later and requires the Xcode Command Line Tools. Menu-bar controls provide pausing, brain-window visibility, escape testing, movement between displays, adding or removing flies, and starting a collective startle response; the brain window can stimulate nearby circuit neurons for 400 ms. The code is MIT-licensed, while derived FlyWire data files are CC BY-NC 4.0.
