wrtag

wrtag is a Unix-style Go toolkit for automated music tagging and library organization based on MusicBrainz. It matches existing or newly imported files to MusicBrainz releases using tags or filenames, updates their metadata, and moves or copies them into a configurable filesystem layout. Its command-line tools support individual-folder operations such as move and copy and bulk rescanning with sync; the suite also provides path templates, cover-art handling, validation, multi-disc release support, filesystem locking, and optional addons for lyrics, ReplayGain, and subprocesses. An optional web interface assists with importing releases over a network, including confirmation when no full match is found. Static or portable binaries are provided for Linux, macOS, and Windows.
