AI product Open source
new-term-radar is an open-source Python tool for finding emerging AI names—models, products, tools, and repositories—before they appear in conventional keyword tools. It reads signals from X posts, Hugging Face trending models and Spaces, GitHub repository growth, sitemaps, newly indexed sites, optional Google Search Console data, Reddit requests, payment-link changes, and revenue listings, then produces reports of candidate terms and their evidence.
Its optional keyword-use-case pipeline extracts generic searches associated with each name, screens them with a model, estimates search demand and trends, checks page-one competition, and assigns decisions such as prioritize, watch, or skip. The tool also provides command-line reports, configurable daily and source-specific runs, scheduled GitHub Actions workflows, agent skills, and an MCP server with tools for recent leads, keyword tables, and radar runs. It uses Python 3.10 or newer and the standard library for its core runtime; external services such as AIsa and optionally GoAnyAPI supply paid signals and model or search-data calls. The repository is licensed under the MIT License.
