Mador.js is a small reactive DOM runtime for adding state-driven behavior to existing HTML without a framework. It exposes reactive state and DOM bindings through a native ES module: bindings select elements, read selected state, and run update callbacks with the resulting values. Mador tracks the properties read by each binding and reruns only affected bindings; writes are batched so multiple state changes are processed together. Bindings are associated with the DOM elements they update, allowing their reactive runners to be removed when those elements disappear. It has no components, templates, virtual DOM, global runtime, or required build step, and is distributed through npm or a CDN under the MIT license.
